Man oh man! Didn’t I mention in the last post about the implementation of the Sherman Middledalemicrotanner principals? And then right after that I don’t post for 10 days! It is the principal of consistency which I was referring to in that last post.

You see, the rather bizarre name of this project of mine is made up of a potpourri of some of the most consistent people that I know. You may know some (or all) of them. If you don’t, you’d better get out there and find out what you can about any of them. If you’d like to know one of the most important principals that is a surefire way out of the fire – then consistency is the one you had better start off with.

If you are going to blog, or market over the internet, or even be a good spouse or friend, than the one thing that must be evident in your endeavor is consistency. You may not start out with the most powerful blog posts, or even have all of the right things to say as a friend, but if your are consistently banging away at it everyday, than sooner or later you’re going to break through. Of course there are other elements involved, but your not going to get anywhere in life or do anything special – if consistency is not a primary component of your strategy!

Like me, I might not ever be a world class blogger, or even have a whole lot of ’super intelligent’ things to say. But what I do have is burning desire to succeed in internet marketing – and I know from watching Sherman,Caroline, Ed, Micronet, and Susanne, that blogging is an essential part of the strategy. So – although I’m not that good – I DO know that I will get better!

So now that we’ve dusted ourselves off – AGAIN – let’s get back out there and apply some of those Sherman Middledalemicrotanner principals. The knowledge is nothing without application!

I guess I can say that I’ve officially made it to day 2. That might not mean anything to anyone else, but when you hate writing as much as I do, then day 2 of a blog can be quite an accomplishment. I mean, the thought of writing causes me to absolutely dread the event and try to avoid the assignment at any cost.

But recently I’ve come to an obvious conclusion. I’ve realized that one of the most important elements of internet marketing is the blog and it’s valuable position in the content stream. For this reason, if I hope to have any type of success whatsoever, then blog it will be – and this will be in addition to writing top quality content every day. The very thought fills me with horror! in fact, as I falling asleep each night I am trying to make up the next day’s excuse to avoid the dreaded blog. But if I am going to completely come up out of this situation that I find myself in, than yup! The blog it will be! Man, the thought is killing me. But I’ve put my mind to it – and therefore, I’m going to do it.

Let’s just hope that the saying “practice makes perfect” has at least a thread of truth in it, shall we?

Oh well, now let’s see if I’m still breathing… Yep! I’ve survived blog post number two. Hmmm, I wonder if I’ll make it to number three…
