All of us have been burned once or twice!

But this isn't about being burned. It's about what we do after we shake off the flames. Do we just sit there and whine? Or do we get up, dress our wounds and move on?

I apologize to the whiners because I really don't have much to tell them. But to those who have had the courage to stand up and get back into the fight - let's walk, talk, and share together!

New Blog Perspective

I must admit that it’s been awhile since my last post. But I have still not given up. I actually survived the 30 Day Challenge – AND I completed about 94% of the work!

I have recently come into a new understanding of the exact importance of blogging in our modern age. I mean I truly, TRULY understand the importance of this aspect of internet marketing. But blogging is not only important to in relation to internet marketing, it has also become a vital part of our daily lives in general. This is the way that people now communicate ideas and disseminate information. It’s the way that websites rise or fall – and it’s also the way that the men/women are separated from the boys/girls.

It doesn’t mean that I hate to write any less. It means that blogging has now risen up in my list of priorities. When I say up, I mean way, WAY up!! It only took me about a year! But not only do I understand, I am also 100% dedicated to the application of all principals related to blogging and micro blogging. I only wish that I would have listened a bit closure to Ed Dale a long, long time ago. But there is still time.

Like Ed says, it’s not just about slapping up some content, it’s about adding something of value to the web. Adding something to someone’s overall experience of the web. It’s got to be good. There are a lot of pretty good marketers out there. If I’m ever going to compete, I’m just going to have to get used to the fact that I’m going to have to write good stuff at all times and that blogs ( yes plural) are going to be a focal point.

I’ve got to stop being scared of these things and put my nose to the grindstone. Let’s get to it…

Starting To Focus

Now I’d be one of the first to admit that it’s not always the brightest thing to do to just ‘jump right in’ and get your whole body wet in one full swoop. But for me, the time has come for the rubber to meet the road. I’m jumping in whether there’s water in there or not – so if you don’t here from me for a couple of days – be sure to look in that empty swimming pool back there.

Where are we going. What are the plans. We know that we’ve come out of the flames, but what do we do to keep from falling back down. In all honesty, there is no excuse for me. I am surrounded by some pretty serious powerhouses. It pretty much started last year during the Thirty Day Challenge with Ed Dale, Caroline Middlebrook, and Micronet.

But that was last year – and this is now. I’ve seen the light shining within SMARTS and Stompernet. I messed up and looked right at it – I should not have survived! I’ve seen people rise up from the ashes – and I’ve seen some come crashing down! But what about me? What am I going to do? I’ve got Ed and Dan, Don and Andy, Micronet and Caroline. I’ve got Susanne and Sherman. I’ve got the direct pipeline to some of the most positive people who are actually DOING – and I’m just sitting here TALKING. NO MORE!

From this moment on I am going to implement one thing from each of the aforementioned. I guess you could say that I’m going to Frankenstein it! The best part of each of them that I can do – as well as implement – at my own level.

I have to say before I go – I HATE TO WRITE!! But I’ve got to get on this…. Hmmm, if this actually works…
