My name is Philip Cross. I’m one of those people who really shouldn’t be here right now. As a child I braved the scorching flames of hell and as a teen carrying those same flames I damn near burned up everyone I came into contact with.
I am now an adult who is so happy to still be here that I am probably one of the happiest people you will ever meet. I see beauty every where that I look and I can see goodness in almost everyone – please allow me to emphasize the word ‘almost.’ 
I know – from experience – that the world is full of positive people who know how to laugh, share, and enjoy life. I want to find those people and laugh with them. I want to learn from them. I want to talk with them. I want to read some of the books they read, speak a bit of the language they speak, and share some of the foods that they eat. I want to listen to their music and dance their dances.
