All of us have been burned once or twice!

But this isn't about being burned. It's about what we do after we shake off the flames. Do we just sit there and whine? Or do we get up, dress our wounds and move on?

I apologize to the whiners because I really don't have much to tell them. But to those who have had the courage to stand up and get back into the fight - let's walk, talk, and share together!

Getting Down To Business

I have no doubt that the direction of this blog will confuse anyone looking for some sort of logical direction. But it is important to keep in mind that this blog is a practice ground for me and I hope that as time goes on it will get better and lead to what I hope will be a successful blog on a different domain.

I have recently received a suggestion by a more successful blogger that I will try to implement here before I take it to the new domain. It was simply suggested that I blog about my trials, tribulations and successes that I experience as I try to implement the ideas I’ve learned from internet marketers. Now this may sound obvious to you, but I have not been what you would call ’successful’ – quite yet. But the point being that there are others out there at my stage or before that could use some insight into how hard/easy it is to actually implement some of these ideas that we hear about all over the web.

Alright then! I’ll be the live guinea pig. My disclaimer from the beginning is as follows: I don’t claim to be the best. I only claim to be a doer. I am willing to learn from my mistakes. My true hope is that not only do “I” learn from the application of these principles, but also that others out there in the community also learn. In this way we all improve together!

Now with that said – Let’s get started!

New Blog Perspective

I must admit that it’s been awhile since my last post. But I have still not given up. I actually survived the 30 Day Challenge – AND I completed about 94% of the work!

I have recently come into a new understanding of the exact importance of blogging in our modern age. I mean I truly, TRULY understand the importance of this aspect of internet marketing. But blogging is not only important to in relation to internet marketing, it has also become a vital part of our daily lives in general. This is the way that people now communicate ideas and disseminate information. It’s the way that websites rise or fall – and it’s also the way that the men/women are separated from the boys/girls.

It doesn’t mean that I hate to write any less. It means that blogging has now risen up in my list of priorities. When I say up, I mean way, WAY up!! It only took me about a year! But not only do I understand, I am also 100% dedicated to the application of all principals related to blogging and micro blogging. I only wish that I would have listened a bit closure to Ed Dale a long, long time ago. But there is still time.

Like Ed says, it’s not just about slapping up some content, it’s about adding something of value to the web. Adding something to someone’s overall experience of the web. It’s got to be good. There are a lot of pretty good marketers out there. If I’m ever going to compete, I’m just going to have to get used to the fact that I’m going to have to write good stuff at all times and that blogs ( yes plural) are going to be a focal point.

I’ve got to stop being scared of these things and put my nose to the grindstone. Let’s get to it…
